“I consider my mixed media work to be sculptural painting. Organic in nature and often in content, each piece is directly influenced by the natural and architectural forms that surround me. Roots vs foundation, bark vs stucco, sticks vs wire, clay vs adhesive, I meld organic materials with inorganic, blurring the line between natural growth and premeditated construction.”
